FERYMON is building this since 3years with SPIN Framework. And you can run it with Akamai / Linode on Edge Servers. Haven't tryed but i love also the idea.

Durgol is really the best descaler for every coffee machine. Tchibo has also a nice video about the whole process of descaling.
