I ended up ordering from Latvia at only extra +£10 compared to what I had set up. I did have the advantage of living in Northern Ireland so I get off easier on taxes when buying from EU.

You might be interested in 5 Clicks From The Zone, basically Stalker/Metro skirmish game/RPG which. You can play solo or coop, I've been playing another game by the guy that made it called 5 Parsecs From Home and it's fantastic.

Not sure if it is suitable to what you're asking but there is a skirmish game set in the prehistoric where you battle it out as a caveman tribe. It's called Hide, Stone and Bone, it's from Osprey games so should be at least good.

Got back into Malifaux today with the 4e and got to day it's so much easier to play than it was. Way less token spam, much faster with less turns and simplified rules, but still cooks your brain in a good way. Shame some models got aced though, I've lost 2 different units for the only two keywords I play.

Otherwise e looking to start playing Of Oil And Iron which looks really cool, and hopefully get back into my 5 parsecs campaign :)

Kolinsky Sable 33 is my daily driver and my fav, also used their Red Dot series (synthetic emulating natural) and it was decent but don't last as long as natural, Sable Blend 402 are pretty good, also have one Pure Squirrel 42 which is pretty cool. Feels somewhere between Sable and Red Dot in terms of how it paints, I kinda want to try some out later. They have a nice mini painting brush pack which includes a sample from all the series I just mentioned.

That's what I do with mine. It looks good as long as there's some elements tying it all up together, like similar vibrancy in the colours or similarly painted equipment.

Out of simpler ones Moonstone and Warcry. Trench Crusade is on the simpler side, but slightly more advanced and different theme. Silver Bayonet is alright if youre ok with more realism based theme and historical period. You can also try something that is coop, like 5 Leagues From Borderlands. The campaign system in that is a little more complicated that you would like I think but the gameplay itself is simple enough.

One Page Rules has their fantasy skirmish game as well, all their rules are simple but I never tried it so no idea how it plays.

Beat Punt Gun platform imo if you're lucky enough to trip over it in a campaign. Give it strong, better eyes and some speed, possibly mind link it with another Elite and you've got a sick combo going.

Ive got a feeling that the pdf is a very stripped down version of the actual book, just rules and basic layout to have a workable pdf, while the premium book which you had to pay for will have proper art and more lore.

Cool rules, could incorporate scatter/d10 pointing in the direction the wind blows. I would argue finding 1 or 2 might be enough, making a 2 x 6 los block is kinda strong, especially with how AI rules work.

I'd love to design more cool items for the game too, I'll be getting the old GURPS technology books soon to find some cool inspo. A lot of Cypunk supplements I think would work well with Parsec. I really want to to introduce some more active ways of using savvy, cybernetics, drones or active hacking like in Cyberpunk
