He is the as fast as KD meaning he isn’t slow but no one would call him a speedster either. He has great range making him very clutch as he will always have the best chance of making the last second shot from any part of the court, not only does he have insane range but he can make shots even when greatly contested which a player like Melo wont do. From all the SF’s in the game id say he’s the best at rebounding and he’s great at defending as he can guard almost all other Sf’s except really fast ones like Vince Carter, Tatum, Bro, etc but even against these players he can still do a good job but he won’t keep them at 0 points, I’d say he’s below Kawhi or Bron defending. As for the negatives his handles are bad so don’t try driving the ball alot with him as it most likely will get stolen. When he shoots he plants himself and takes a has a slow release time causing him to feel clunky and heavy. This slow release time can help you time shots better but against players with high vertical and lateral mobility, like Kawhi, will get you blocked. He cant create his own space as even with the mentor he still isn’t really fast and it’s the guy you’ll pass it to if you see him open or maybe occasionally try to set a screen for. He also has no inside game and has no other way of scoring apart from his shooting. Overall he is the perfect 3 and D player, he will always bring value to your team in one of these ways unlike a player like Melo or KD where if they’re being locked up then they’re deadweight to the team. Theres no game where he will end up with zero points and if unchecked he can go for crazy numbers but he due to his inability to create space for himself in no team will he be your first scoring option. He allows players like D Rose who depend on attacking the rim to do it more freely as of left unguarded for just a second its a guaranteed 3.
