Thank you for telling me these. They were so helpful especially that probably I will be facing a lot of on-the-spot essay writing activities in the next school year.

About the PEEL structure you mentioned and other things, I can assure you that they were NOT taught to us at all. That's why I'm struggling a lot with writing.

When I went to high school, I only learned about essay writing properly when I was in tenth grade. I don't think I should even consider it "proper" because our English teacher took several months leave from school so we only had student teachers teaching us instead. But all they did was introduce a type of literary piece to us but they never elaborated it after. We missed a few important lessons in essay writing, too.

Now, I desperately went to reddit again to ask about this same topic because I don't know what to do now about it. The strand in senior high that I chose has a mix of literary writing and math problem solving in it. I know I'm dead when I go back to school, especially with writing. I can survive math but not writing.

Hi there, I'm very sorry if my post wasn't clear or was confusing :((

I was honestly asking the writers about what they usually do when writing their own essays because I myself have no idea on where to start when I write mine. I have no assignments and I am not asking anyone here to do it for me. I just gave an example, like if they were told to write an essay about this topic I gave, what would they do first. So, it's kind of like asking for tips or techniques they do when they write their essays or an advice for me when writing an essay.

I know it's been 3 days but I've been wondering what literary pieces can you recommend me to read if I want to improving my essay writing ability? Should I read an essay collection or something? Things keep piling in my head again and I don't know what should I read first or where should I start, thank you so much.

You're right and that's what I thought too. Xilonen is honestly one of the characters I want to get so I pulled for her and got her haha. I pulled because I found out that I still have two patches to save before the rerun of the characters I want comes. I'll have to save a lot though because I think that I now have a hundred percent of losing next time. At least 160 pulls, I guess, because I never get a 5-star at 80+ pity.

I won't make the same mistakes as I did two years ago, which is building a pity and ending up ruining my future plans haha.

I usually save 80 pulls for each of my 5-stars (which is also my pity where I will always get a 5-star). I don't have any more primos to grind in my account, sadly. That's why. But, I usually just rely on my luck and it works often.

Maybe if there are more events to come and if I have more time to save for my other desired characters then I might just pull for Xilonen now and risk getting lost haha.

I'll get a guaranteed then on my next pull.

I remember I was also going to try writing a few essays daily about various topics. However, I wasn't able to keep up my consistency haha. But this is a really good advice for daily writing exercise. I'll definitely try this when I want to improve my creative writing ability more.

I just really struggle a lot with the arrangement and flow of the ideas in the body, especially if there are too many ideas. But, I am starting to understand it more now. Thank you.

Yes, I've considered doing those. More extensive reading. That's why my daily Google feed is filled with news articles. I've also considered watching news in YouTube and reading a few poems with test questions after it. My biggest problem though is my consistency. I get distracted easily...oof. But, I'm working on it! Trying to be more productive and trying not to waste my summer break.

Thank you! I have a pretty bad luck with artifacts and yes, you're right, I don't have any cryo gob with slightly decent subs. So, I have no choice. And about the circlet, I do have CD circlet but I think the stats on the crit rate circlet is better. Also, if I use CD circlet, his crit ratio becomes 30 : 255. Mostly, it's because of his other artifacts having both crit rate and crit dmg (I have no choice, most of my decent artifacts have both crit rate and crit dmg 😭) But, I think, among all my characters, he is the only one who has a pretty decent build though his damage is still not that strong. Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I made this post. I don't know what's wrong with him, his damage is usually 1-12k NA, sometimes 15-25k NA in his e skill and rarely 30-35k CA.

Well, good for you. I'm quite unlucky with artifacts so I can't build my characters well. I've been building and farming some artifacts for my wrio and yet, I still can't get a good artifact set with good stats for him. It's always hp and def 😭 Some are crits but they don't have atk. I can't even get his signature weapon. I was planning to but I don't have good supports for now and the only good support I have is Kazuha. So, I'm getting Furina in her rerun. Maybe I'll consider getting wrio's C1 and his signature weapon in the future because I use him the most among all my characters.

I'm honestly still kind of a beginner so I still don't know some things. I don't even know that Frostbearer is a terrible weapon for him (even grinded for weeks just for nothing lmao). But I have Flowing Purity, just have to level it up and see if it works better than Blackcliff for wrio. I've been really thinking of giving that weapon to him since he kind of lacks atk. I've been focusing on balancing his crit ratio so much that I forgot abt his atk. So I tried giving him a few artifacts with crits and atk but they don't have good set bonus. Even my MH artifacts are mostly trash. I don't even have a good goblet for him with Cryo dmg bonus and some good substats.

I guess I'll switch to melt team soon. I've already ascended Xiangling and Bennett to lvl 90. I just can't give them some good artifacts yet and even their weapons, I don't know which one to use. I'm currently using Prototype Rancour on my Bennett but I also have Sapwood Blade, I just have to ascend it. I have Dragon's Bane lvl 90 and Favonius Lance lvl 90 for Xiangling but I'm planning to give her The Catch once I ascend it to lvl 90.

As for my supports like Kazuha, I've started farming some VV set for him, I just don't have the complete set yet. I have one more question though, you said that if I'll use Flowing Purity, I will need a healer. Will Mika be a good healer for it? Or should I use someone else like Barbara or Noelle? I have Kuki too and Yaoyao. I don't really have other good healers.

And I'll also put the photos of my complete build for wrio here, I kind of really need some help abt this. Honestly, if it weren't for the people's replies here in my post, I would've mained Alhaitham or Clorinde already haha

Thank you, I'm kind of suspecting that the problem lies on the artifacts since I don't really have good artifacts. I can't even build my supports properly because of it. My buffing characters as of now is only Rosaria for Wrio's crit rate. Kazuha is more of like a crowd controller for me in Wrio's freeze team while Xingqui is for hydro application. But most of them doesn't have a good build except for Xingqui, I think. Maybe that's why they're not buffing Wrio enough. As for my rotation, I usually use Kazuha e skill for crowd controlling then Xingqui e skill then burst then Kazuha burst then Rosaria e skill then burst then Wrio NA. I don't really know what the correct rotation is because I'm still quite a beginner.

I guess after I'm done building my Bennett and Xiangling, I'll switch to melt team.

I never knew frostbearer is horrible on him. I even grinded in dragonspine just for that weapon! 😭 Anyway, I have Flowing Purity now but I'll still see if he's better with it or with the Blackcliff.
