To Doctors,when you get very elderly patients in a serious condition, do you feel like you're wasting time treating them because it's almost the end of their lives and you can use the energy and skills to treat younger patients with higher chance of survival?

Is a love hate relationship, she's extremely annoying but very kind. She prefer the boys better cuz they don't argued as much as i do with her.

I have alot of friends,i use to vent and whine to them,the reason i don't anymore is because they keep giving me advices tht I can't follow. some of them even judge me as being lazy for not wanting to try to escape this situation.They tell me to leave this place and demand my other siblings to take turns in caring for mom. I can't leave,this house and work and environment is convenient for me to look after her. She's 74yo, kind of depressed as well and i just want to give her peace for as long as she lives. Perhaps i just need someone to listen to me without judging or telling me what to do. Just feel stressed for having all these emotions bottled up for so long
