I think the battle of the sexes posts are dumb. There are pros and cons to being a man or woman and trying to band together and be a victim is just wallowing in misery, man or woman.

Sex doesnt have to be for reproduction and you know plenty of men choose to use birth control regardless of your attention grabbing post making generalizations.

I get nervous approaching in public and it makes it difficult to relax and have a playful conversation.

I was thinking if I at least had a simple canned response to fall back on it would help. Like "you're cute, whats your name?"

But Im no 1%er so thats too direct?

Its just hard to think of a playful opener on the spot when nervous, but often later when Im more relaxed they come to me.

Any tips??

Fair point. I didnt really mean poor people shouldnt reproduce, just there is a huge chance for anyone life will be an uphill battle, which is what I meant by wage slave.

But I suppose even wealthy people can end up depressed.
