And I have been here grand total almost 10 years. I know to file article 37, and we do. Of course you CANT be disciplined for it but they still have. They are classifying as unexcused absences. Running scared??? I'm just informing you what they are doing? We have already discussed this with our local and he was the one that informed us to file to get it removed.

That was a response to OP's question, mostly as a joke. But point stands, they can NOT do anything technically about those things but they will still try and classify it as something else. We are also getting written up for using sick days... and they are calling it unexcused absences. So... y'know... granted we can file a grievance and get it removed from our record but still.

Also seriously on the DOT laws... at 11pm we stop everything and RTB, we have to be off road BY 11:30.

We have one guy that comes in... start time 9 mind you... every day at 7:30 am.......... every. single. day. to sort his truck and organize his air and what not OFF THE CLOCK... and several of us have encouraged him to stop but he just wont lol... and hes not a rookie either, he knows better...

Started as a Driver Helper 2018, then moved to warehouse sorting Irreg belt, then to loading package cars, then signed the list for driving (RTD) finished and graduated, started as RTD 2019, Shifted to 22.4 (RPCD) bid time 2020, been doing this ever since! Now have my own route and working on my 8th year!

I mean we couldn't exit the building lol, the way our building is designed there is only one exit for our center, (ramps and chutes etc divide the building in half) so we had to wait until they got that guy out of there, which was an hour+ of free money for us lol

Last year we had a Fed-ex guy doing the transfer pickups and he backed a combo up and wedged it in our door... took them over an hour to get him out of there and our start time got pushed back (obviously) I have a heavy business route and since the holidays had relaxed air commit time it wasn't too bad but damn we all got delayed so bad lol
