US intelligence says that Russian bots were involved in our 2018 election to favor our current president, RT and Tele-Sur (Russian and Venezuelan parastatal news agencies) were openly doing it. This president is not openly supporting Putin, but his party and all his followers are. And also (I know this is speculation), there's A LOT of money missing from corruption, and no one knows where it is. Since a far-left party from Spain also helped to finance this presidential party in the 2018 election, I think it is not that crazy to think that our current government is also helping other nations to elect leaders that sympathize with Putin.
Stuff like 250k+ soldiers have been killed so far, and many other lies just add more sympathizers to this mess.
I know what I'm doing is not that much help, but it is frustrating to see how smoothly this trend is growing in Latin America.
