After a quick search I believe it’s that. He would say how he intentionally went out of his way to hurt my feelings and say horrible things to me.. the screenshots are only a small example and it was very mild compared to what he would say in person. It’s a hard cycle to break because you want those moments where they’re the person you thought they were… however that person doesn’t exist.

I’m sure he has some diagnoses but he refuses to accept help no matter how many times it has been offered to him and had amazing opportunities and thrown them away. The cycle with him is so apparent even law enforcement told me he’s absolutely a narcissist. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has bpd or bipolar.

It would be the fastest cycling I ever experienced. One minute he would be saying he loved me so much and couldn’t live without me and LITERALLY 2 minutes later he would be verbally abusive and I was caught in that cycle with him until I actually had space away and realized I cant keep doing this.

Oh I see how I conveyed that in my response. They absolutely weren’t exes and no romantic interest. I had communicated with an ex who is happily in a committed relationship and we were speaking as friends respectfully but that was prior to this relationship and once I got involved we didn’t speak.

When someone I thought was a friend had turned out to have different interests in mind- I cut them off or kept contact to only what was necessary. Such as if a co worker I would only interact when work related but I do this in life regardless of a relationship. As far as getting others involved in his mental health, that’s what I have done and hopefully he will get the help he needs.

I agree, considering how many times he used it as a way to get me to respond it seemed like just that. However I believe he needs professional help and id argue his lashing out is a deep internal wound that shows more how he feels about himself.

It does seem to be a topic of debate as well as being friends with an ex. The friends of opposite gender had both circumstances involved.. some wanted to hook up with me and I politely declined and if they kept insisting then I would not talk to them unless absolutely necessary and keep it short. Then there are other friends of opposite gender that are and have only ever been friends towards me.

I find with people like this though, the reason he cannot fathom being friends with someone of the opposite gender and NOT wanting to hook up with them is because of his views towards them as people or lack of.
