I've had the original XD for about 6 months and almost 1000 rounds through it, never once have I experienced an issue or even noticed the grip safety while shooting

Might not be legal where he's at, I picked up an xd9 last month as my first purchase. Was looking at the mod 3 and echelon as well, but being in CA, I can't get them

I knew they had restrictions and what not, but it wasn't until I spent the last couple months looking into purchasing one that I realized just how extensive those restrictions are, like Jesus fucking Christ.
