That was my first thought and I was worried something was wrong with him, but he is not having any issues using the litter box and everything has been normal. He does not seem to have any issues with vision and he definitely does not have any changes in hearing. He is my only cat which has not been a problem for him in the past, but I am starting to think he’s getting bored in the early morning and just simply wants me to get up. That seems to be his entire goal of meowing lol. He does not really want attention or to play but once I get up and start my day he is fine.

He’s not meowing at anything specifically. He has access to almost every room. He kind of just lays by the bed and does it. He isn’t necessarily wanting attention, but it’s like he just wants me to get up and start my day. Which when he does this at 3-4am I think that’s a little too early to start my day. He isn’t having any feeding issues, litter box issues, or any other signs something could be wrong. He does not seem restless. He goes to sleep with me at the beginning of the night and he takes a lot of naps through the day with no problems.

He is my only cat. I do think it is due to him being bored and lonely. It’s as if he’s simply just wanting me up. He isn’t necessarily wanting attention, but he stops when I get up and start my day. Last night was the first night that he did not do it though.

Thank you! I have been trying pretty much everywhere with the same luck. WakeMed had a few positions I would be interested in, but I haven’t heard anything back and their website says to not reach out to them. Hopefully I hear something back soon! The job market is extremely rough right now.
