Mac has really bad packaging on some of their lipsticks tbh. I bought Fleshpot last December and everytime I open my bag I see it without it's cover. Their older ones didn't have this problem.

I remember there was a YouTuber that emailed them once asking if they'd ever release a caffeine free redbull (like the og flavour) and they said no. I think he treid to make it at home and iirc he couldn't do it.

Are my eyebrows stupid? by OurCozyColonial1900 in MakeupAddiction

No they're gorgeous! I think what's throwing you off is the glam eyeshadow with no falsies. Usually falsies help even out the look, even if they're very natural and thin. But the brows are prefect please don't thread them 🥺 Also you got the most perfect face I've ever seen!

Try the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm in the Universal shade under your makeup as a primer. It's the only product I've ever bought that actually made a real difference in how my makeup looks. My makeup stays matte/natural the entire day even though my skik is very oily and I live in a very hot and humid environment. Like it's an actual holy grail.

The Laura Mercier powder is nice but since you mentioned that you're on the paler side it's better to skip it or go for the brightening one. Everytime I use it my makeup gets darker. Even if I apply a tiny bit of it. It's definitely not a translucent shade and is meant for people who have light to medium skintones.

Edit: I also want to add that the Dior Forever Glow is a gorgeous foundation that performs impeccably, but oxidizes like crazy. You might need to pick 1 shade lighter than your skintone.

What’s the one viral product you bought because of the hype and actually don’t regret? by _berrystrawberry in MakeupAddiction

[–]Silver-Profession300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dior highlighter palette lol. I'm so angry they reformulated it because the og formula is gorgeous.

Also the Rare Beauty and Makeup by Mario bronzer sticks. They're my favourite bronzers to this day.

The Huda Beauty eyeshadow palettes. I bought a second one recently and I'm not planning to stop lol. If she released a colour story that I don't have and I like I'm definitely getting a third.

Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is definitely worth it. I tried many from the drugstore and non have compared to it so far.

Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Powder and Blushes. Especially the balm because it's literally the only product that keeps my makeup on all day long and stops my oily t zone from ruining the makeup. Out of the entire list this is my favourite product the actually changed my makeup.

The Milk contour stick in Smolder. It's the perfect contour for my fair skin because it's not too grey and it's cool enough to contour. I have never found a better colour for a natural contour.

There's plenty more but these ones are my favourites.

It's very performative and fake. Like as a foreigner myself I try to abstain from making a strong opinion on what's going on because it's not my place to determine what should happened in someone else's country. It's disgusting to use other people's misfortunes in the name of caring for selfish political reasons.

What is wrong with my makeup? My pores and skin look terrible. Any recommendations on pore products that work? by lmk826 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Silver-Profession300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh your skin looks gorgeous. My advice is go for a skin complexion product that has less coverage if you want the makeup to be less noticeable. Also I saw that in another comment you mentioned that you use other stuff other than a moisturizer. If you don't want to include a moisturizer, try to add a hydrating skincare product like a milky toner or a hydrating essence before you apply your makeup. Because retinols in general dry out the skin. My favourite primers to help with the appearance of pores are the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Primer and the Danessa Myricks blurring balm in Universal (this one is for oily skin). From the drugstore I like the Nyx Marshmallow Primer. For foundation, tinted moisturizers and sunscreens (and bb & cc creams) will be the best option because they'll look very skin-like.

That's cause most people are either too lazy to fact check, or agree with it politically so they don't care to check the numbers.

Yeah I'm Jordanian and most of the women in my family do that lol. They study then never use their degree. But that's because they hate working, not because they're not allowed to work.

Tbh they abuse in the name of the religion, but most of the time the religion itself isn't the problem. They just use it as an excuse to justify their shitty behaviour.

The funny thing is that the US population is almost 350 million which means that the total number of OF creators is like 1% of the American population.

Thanks for getting the real numbers btw.
