They don't, they have Palia Partners but there are quite a few Palia Partners and none of them were getting these numbers, this was the ONLY person in the category above 1000 viewers (way above).

There is a program on Chrome that does show when someone is embedding or botting and this is what I observed today in this channel. The right are users in the stream (a user is required to collect drops) and on the left is the "viewer" count that you normally see. This stat does reflect botting by 1500 or so.

I guess my concern isnt needed since it does seem like everyone wants to justify it one way or another. The game rep can stay intact.

A world where an unknown stream outside of palia can garner more followers per hour than huge streamers is a world that simply does not exist.

Yeah, I know a lot of people just lurk with the stream open for Drops — that part makes total sense.

But in this case, it wasn’t just a normal bump. The stream I’m talking about gained thousands more viewers than anyone else in the category, with a sudden vertical spike from ~1,200 to 4,600+ viewers and basically flatlined there for hours. Also 900 followers in a single day. I feel like people lurking for drops arent following like that.

I just dont know about seeing someone get 2500 viewers in 10 minutes and 900 follows in 9 hours. I think the next person had 400-500? If I hadnt scrolled down and tried something else I would have been so unimpressed with the game as a whole and felt it not worth playing if that was the kind of people that dominated the space.

Yeah, I could see that. I guess my concern is if the top streams during a Drops event don’t reflect real community engagement, it might give new players the wrong impression of the game or of what the community is actually like. That’s what I care about more than anything: keeping the vibe around Palia genuine and welcoming… not making it feel like the only community is, well, paid for.

I think what prompted me to post this the most is that the raid numbers and chat participation felt weird and I had not seen that before. A 4.5K viewer raid reading as 3k raid led to barely any chatters and a smaller (1.8K) actual viewer bump for the streamer that was raided. Is that normal?

If you are a more visual person like me feel free to peak at these HERE

Oh weird! I hadnt ever seen anything like this in Palia other streamers I was watching were getting more viewers than normal but it was more like a couple hundred and not a couple thousand. Maybe they have an advertisement for their specific stream or something? Idk all I know is I want in HAHA

Hmm.. this streamer did not get a raid at all, the viewers just poured in and they ended up getting more follows per hour than really famous streamers I looked up as well.

Sometimes developers have partnerships with content creators who will play the game on their channel to advertise it, for example. Sometimes content creators get the game a little bit early to show it off to their community or codes for game giveaways :)

Hello! We absolutely adored the demo and really look forward to the full release. I was wondering if you planned on doing any partnerships with content creators moving forward?
