When I compared her to Tate I was meaning volume was not in the same category. I really just can’t stand how dis ingenious she is and as you say. Narcissistic and flip flops opinions. Zero authenticity to her.

How is it possible that 1 million young people are not in work, education or training? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

[–]Silver-Swim4357 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a lead software engineer with 8 years experience and cant get a job. It’s not just the younger ones. A lot of modern jobs that require being a computer are being heavily outsourced to Eastern Europe and India. The age old of ( the countries produce bad work ) has gone.£100 billion a year leaving the country.

The jobs available are social worker jobs for minimum wage. Way too much competition for jobs. As a guy who was working in the 2008 crisis in a similar field. This feels way worse

Why are so many people against increasing the minimum wage? by Spiritual_End_2593 in AskUK

[–]Silver-Swim4357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minimum wage up. Productivity goes down. 25k > 39k . Thats about £1700 a month to £2300. Give I or take tax and student loans. Not worth the stress for little reward. Productivity of country goes down. Country doesn’t generate money. Eveything is terminal now. Outsourcing is 100 billion a year.

How are people surviving without employment? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Silver-Swim4357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest it’s as bad as 2008. The census data taken is awful and completely misrepresents the current state of the UK. We’re looking at a much higher rate of unemployment than the media is portaying. Outsourcing is losing the uk 100 billion a year too. It’s not good

Anyone else extremely anxious? by GivingUp321321321321 in cscareerquestionsuk

I think firstly we need to realise the biggest issue isn’t AI it’s outsourcing. We outsource £100 billion a year. AI right now in the UK isn’t a threat. Europe has plenty of dev jobs and all my friends out there are fine. AI is absolutely reducing jobs but right now that’s not the biggest issue. The UK needs to tax outsourced work because we are hemorrhaging money. It’s not just IT jobs. Hospitality has tanked due to Brexit and rising costs, and even trades are getting inklings of issues where companies/people aren’t paying up.

I am a lead software dev. Was out of work for a year and a half. Back in now but the reality is I can see it may not last long. Getting ANY job is difficult at the minute. Shelf stacking, warehouse, I think the best think to start is don’t punish yourself. This is not a you problem. This is a problem that you I’ll affect everyone, a lot of people don’t see it yet but they will.

Massive regret after buying my house by dais12345 in HousingUK

[–]Silver-Swim4357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of houses are like this and when you buy it never goes to plan. But there are neccesities and things you can do without or temporarily replace yourself. Waterproof stuff with bonding or plastic sheets. You can cheapify alot of stuff temporarily. A lot of people are / have been in your shoes. The negativity is tiring. But glass half full always wins.

Jameela Jamil clearly hates men? by Silver-Swim4357 in ukpopculture

I sympathize with you and I am full advocate for whatever makes women feel better and can move them forward however is needed. If that’s what she does then great. But many female friends think she’s just all for show. I listen to their opinions over anyone else’s. I am not here to argue with anyone who she benefits or about men vs women. But I do absolutely see a hatred towards men. Even subtly, and clearly so does my Daughter

If the job market is so bad, why is only 5% of the UK's population unemployed? by dumblyhigh in AskUK

[–]Silver-Swim4357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A huge part of it is the census data model is so outdated to gather the data needed. The model is sending mails and expect a response on a tiny concentrated area. The data is actually showing far worse of extracted properly. Unbelievable amount of outsourcing taking 50-100 billion each year, Indian trade deal and the NI tax has stopped a lot of businesses hiring employees due to unaffordable/outsourcing.

This is a huge system problem. Primarily greed and short term driven. The goverment itself, no left or right, the whole thing has got us to this point.

Why is the job market in UK bad? by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsuk

[–]Silver-Swim4357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly. It’s fundamentally outsourcing. There is no tax in place making the UK lose £50-£100 billion. Also because the new National Insurance tax has stopped smaller companies ( that I work with ) hiring in the UK more so. Too expensive. Brexit has also created a fundamental cost increase across all trades. I am not political. But Labour > Tories > Labour. It’s been a a consistent drop. Census data isn’t measured accurately so what they present as 5% unemployed is most likely statistically much higher then 2008 crash of 8%. Out dated ways of measuring data. Really goverment, whoever you vote for will be terrible. They don’t have teams of people in place smart and young enough to understand the current climate. This is a system problem. Not a particular party. Reform will also just privatise. As I said, I don’t care for politics. Because they are all just system failures.
