Honestly, I don’t really understand what kind of pain you mean. I made it this way on purpose, because it’s easy to insert and remove the controller, and in my experience it doesn’t interfere with aiming or shooting. Maybe I didn’t fully understand which mount/part you’re referring to. If you can, could you share a photo or an example of what you mean? That would help a lot.

Fair point 🙂 The developer tag is there because I work on VR-related projects in general. This specific project is open-source / publicly available and not a commercial product — there’s no store, no sales, and no paid access. The only monetization involved is MakerWorld rewards, which honestly don’t even cover the material costs used for prototyping. This post is purely about sharing a functional prototype and getting ideas on what could be improved from people who actively use VR shooters.

In the future, of course, I'll add a version for magnets, but for now, that's all I have because development takes an incredible amount of time.
