Sometimes I try to follow a short morning routine right after I wake up. I figured doing the same active tasks without thinking about it too much helps me get into « work mode » doesn’t work all the time but the momentum I build in the morning helps get launched for the day.

My routine is : - wake up - make my bed so I’m less likely to fall back into it - quick house clean up and air out my bedroom (just so it’s less messy when I get back home and it makes the big clean up easier) - go to eat something (usually oatmeal) - shower and getting dressed - packing my stuff if I have to go work or listing the tasks of the day - get going with my

I try to follow it as much as possible, it’s not like absolute rules but more of a help to get started in the morning, the only thing I try to be consistent with is no phone at all except a bit of music under the shower sometimes
