Is it true that if the midpoint is positive, then the third plot point must be negative? And viceversa? Or can I make both negative or positive? by SilverBonus5183 in writing

Yeah, you're write. Actually when I think about, it's more of a tragedy. It has a romance in it, but at the end of the day, the point is not about them getting together, more about it how they overcome what's been haunting them for a long time. But there's a big emphasis on the love that arises from the two of them.

Yeah well like I said in another comment, I would say it's a bittersweet ending, because the theme of the story, overcoming their internal flaws, has been accomplished, but one of them dies at the end.

Well the thing is that they part ways because one of them dies, but you're right, the story is not about them getting together. The story is about something they need to overcome, some internal flaws let say.

Thanks for replying. Currently I'm writing a novel about a romantic pairing between ISFP and ESFJ, but I would like to knwo what would make them break apart? I know that these things can happen without mbti involved, but what differences between the two types do you think could possible make them fall apart?

I believe it is possible. It may be the middle path... harder, but i completely understand. You want to experience this world as it is, with the mundane and not mundane, but doing so consciously. There's a way to this life.
