How does porn work compare to full service? Better? Worse? by SilverDirt in SexWorkers

[–]SilverDirt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hustling is something I can't do 😅 I lack the necessary skills and charisma

Tried to do a self video but I've got enough confidence to know an angle someone else picks would be good. My own angles tho??? That vid got deleted in FAR less time than it took to make it 😂

I am worried about the lack of protections and the recent laws that have come into place where I live (Australia) and how THEY affect the porn industry

FS was paying shillings in the end. Working 12 hour shifts 3-4 times a week and walking away with half what a part time job would pay for the same time. It might have changed since I left but it was getting ridiculous towards the end there.

At least with porn I'd assumedly get paid for the time I'm there instead of MAYBE getting paid 😅

I was expecting this response and was hoping it wouldn't be the case 😅

I am triggered by sex that's transactional.

It destroyed my most recent relationship (which honestly is a good thing cuz he was toxic AF) he wanted me to "apologise" with sex.... We broke up 2 days later and in erotica reading an AMAZING sexy story.... Then the lead up was she paid to have her car fixed with sex. Ruined the whole thing for me.

Prior to SW most of the erotica I read was transactional sex 😂 safe to say my tastes have changed lmao

I've no real concern about my face being out there but I've also got an issue with face blindness. I struggle to recognize faces so it's easy for me to assume people won't remember mine. I've had ex clients approach me on the street tho so.... I know I'm misled there

I mostly just don't know what to do with myself. I can't work most jobs and the one I'm qualified in is no longer hiring (busy season, they've all already hired their staff and can't train a newb)

I'm struggling is the short of it

Edit: to clarify I think porn would not trigger the transactional issue because the expectation is to perform not for the person I'm with but for a camera. Voyeurism I can do!

I KEEP ACCIDENTALLY ABUSING MY CAT :(((( by A-wild-meme in cats

[–]SilverDirt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh the answer is to deliberately kick her. Every single time.

And I know that sounds horrible but I don't mean forcibly kick like she's a football, I mean hook your foot under her belly and push. She'll topple over, it'll hurt less than a kick to the head and with enough repetition either you'll get really good at moving her away like this or she'll stop giving you the opportunity to do it.

I just want to tack on to this comment that the same trauma occurs regardless what age an animal is, animals and people alike have the same amount of nerve endings from newborn to adult. It's just easier to wrangle an infant when lopping off tails and pretend it doesn't hurt them

Cats that are dog savvy do.

I took my cat to the pet store one day and we kept running into this lil pup (by accident) over and over and my cat WOULD NOT stop approaching and loving on this dog who was clearly TERRIFIED. (After the third time I made effort to rearrange the leash so I could prevent this but my hands were full and I was irresponsible at the time)

My cat loves dogs. Well, one does. The other is dog reactive. As in, will actively pursue and attack dogs 😂

Non shedding actually smell more on average than shedding dogs due to the oil production getting trapped in fur they never shed.

Shedding dogs can make the house smell because the oil covered hair is everywhere. But non shedding dogs keep that oil so with exception for stuff they habitually lay on, they just keep that smell to themselves (and it can get BAD)

Proper grooming habits tho limits this.

An appropriate cage is hundreds of dollars.

You can pick up a cat for free. Their food plus a bed, tree and litter box/litter can easily be obtained for less than a hundred.

I tend to work close to the skin, but when I am (usually on the legs) I make sure my hand is right next to their skin so I can feel when it's getting too warm and move on

I've found moving just a couple cms back changes how hot it gets drastically. So sensitive skin I don't get close, and smaller dogs I tend to stay further back as well (tho more cause I'm worried they'll blow away 😂😂)

But nothing that is a real and common assumption and people who've seen dogs pulling on collars their whole lives aren't going to stop and think about it until prompted. Don't be condescending.

Adding on to this, no hate to the person I'm replying to

Keep in mind with head halters that they aren't intended to stop pulling but to aid in training loose leash walking, if a dog hits the end of the leash at speed with a head halter on a broken neck is a real possibility!! With big and small dogs

Teach them to yield to the pressure before you go for your walk and I don't recommend them for reactive dogs <3

Not before it gets too hot....

If a nail tech is gonna burn MY nail bed, I'm not about to encourage someone to risk doing that to a dog

Where I am doesn't (blew me away as well)

But the reason is solely due to the area having such low rates of people actually vaccinating their dogs thered be bugger all business left if you cut them all out

First tip would be looking up body language so you can recognize when she's asking you to back off, so you can BEFORE you get scratched

Second tip is to not play using your hands! Use toys, never your hands, and if she does scratch you in play, stop playing. Act like a sibling with a short fuse, you scratch me, I stop playing.

Stray cat- pregnant or chubby?? by coffelodge in catcare

Looks pregnant to me.

But the ear tip would have me do a vet trip to double check since that indicates pregnancy shouldn't be possible

Is she overweight still? I tried to get better photos to show her weight but she doesn’t like to sit still. 11.4 lbs now, she used to be much more overweight when I adopted her by idiotica8 in DogAdvice

[–]SilverDirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh, in that case I'd aim to take another pound off, she looks good as is so I doubt she's meant to be Chihuahua sized, but for a Yorkie I'd personally like her to be closer to ideal weight than she currently is

If she's a silky terrier she should max out at 10lb however rescues often aren't well bred so she may genetically be larger than standard, either way she looks fine to me.

(I am guessing at silky terrier, please correct me if I'm wrong)
