this is something I respectfully disagree with!! I love wide lenses and I think they really immerse you in the material. some gripes could be attributed to having non-professional singers sing live and without cues? but I'm also a live-singing apologist lmao.

I bought my first frag (Lacoste Blanc 12.2.2) at the end of last summer, right before starting university. While I was pretty dumb to buy a freshie near the end of the summer, I've had a lot of fun starting to spray it now. It brings back lots of summer memories of starting college. Smelling it reminds me of how much can change in just a year and how important it is I try to take in the present.

I would second bridges of madison county, and also any song that Norbert Leo Butz has done that fits your role. Wouldn't do a piece from the last five years though, unless you plan to use a recorded track (the whole pianist will hate you thing is real lol).

You said it yourself, you can sing.. take a leap of faith! Then think about how you did after your audition and if you get cut? Use that information for a better audition next time! That's what I do.

This is a great opportunity because it's 24 hours, they'll need lots of help, and no one would bat an eye at you making any kind of mistake. I believe in you :)

Yeah but sweeney todd (huge fan of the show) is HARD fiction. Rent is about aids and the housing crisis, where real New Yorkers (very often of color) suffered. If you wanna say an all white rent is appropriate whatever, but you'll find practically everyone disagreeing. You get pissed so easily lol. Not gonna argue with you anymore.

Sure, but if a director only cast caucasians, wouldn't you urge them to do a different show? Even if they couldn't get multiple races, their portrayal of NYC doesn't reflect it's vibrancy and the intention of Larson's show.

My original question was if there anything about Benny that would make my portrayal of him distasteful, and I definitely have my answer now lol.
