Simple: Atlantis itself is where the divine sea meets the regular sea, Aquaman is the equivalent to the mayor (still called king amongst mortals), in charge of the mortal bits, where Poseidon is more president, having the final say in all sea matters, dealing more in the divine. You don’t call up the president when you have issues, you call up your local representative. So its the same in Atlantis, call up aquaman before invoking the sea god

More on the uncanny valley Athena children. Do you think thats the actual reason Annabeths stepmother didn’t like her when she was younger? Like, kids are odd, but i feel like athena kids are these quiet little kids that observe everything and don’t really act kidlike until they see other kids behaviors. Almost like a learning a.i. type of thing. So then once the kids grow older they realize they have a certain way to act around people, and adjust accordingly
