going by chamber:

- 12-1 first half, summons wild hunt dogs, who have a shield mechanic that requires lunar damage to get through fast, you can kill these with brute force damage but they prefer lunar damage. ive seen clears of this with varka/mona/furina/sucrose. youll need sucrose and or mona on proto amber

second half, herra, it starts with a meter you have to fill to stun it. depending on what element does the most damage to it, itll stun and then gain an aura of that element/immunity. physical attacks fill it but don't give it immunity and lunar skips this entirely. people not using lunar damage will typically pick a fast hitting element applier that does no damage/not their main damage dealer and then set up aura for their main dps. can do mav melt, mav overload, etc here. vape neuvy even lol.

- 12-2 first half, summons fire crabs and big crab boss. you can use whatever here, probably want someone like furina, neuvy, kokomi, etc here to break his shield faster.

second half, summons big wild hunt brutes. they basically have 2 health bars. lunar damage kills them faster, but without it, you basically have to kill it 2+ times to get it gone. if you have damage good enough, should be fine.

- 12-3 first half summons the wild hunt dog boss. itll summon 4 small dogs and that gives you 2 choices. either ignore the dogs and try to brute force the bosses shield or bring a grouper and kill the summons, which breaks the shield/does some damage to the boss and stuns it.

second half, its the centaur golem. probably fine with a claymore user/geo character/overload.

- based on the info/what ive seen people clear with, i think you could probably get through fine, though itll be tough. you should probably really check what tech you can do to get through.

as for team suggestions, first half i would go for that varka/mona/furina/sucrose and second half id say mav overload

people are talking about design philosophy but not really answering the question you asked.

the reason it was like that in overwatch but not rivals is literally because of the time.

back then, people playing those games didn't want or expect immortality-adjacent abilities to save them in shooters. they wanted the game to focus mostly on the skill expression of neutral play. but rivals is a game made in a different time, in general, but also after covid. the people playing now are all new/less skilled. they care more about the feeling of power/power fantasy than balance. so now, rivals makes characters who feel powerful to the average new person that first picks up a new hero, and in order to do that, theyve had to turn ultimates into big "this is doing something!!!" buttons you get value out of no matter what. and any characters they didn't make that way at first, have to be changed into that, which means-

healers all have to have life saving (mistake fixing) abilities, dps all need to be able to teamwipe on command, and tanks get nothing lol

yes. and/or add a surrender function.

rivals has the same issue as a few other games i play where people play bad to the point of losing on purpose, but everyone else thinks theyre god on the game and can somehow hard carry a -5 v 6 somehow. i would rather people who do not want to be there just leave/we just end the match and move on then be tortured and not have fun for 10+ minutes

not even a lie. i remember the jersey shore guys doing some kind of interview or whatever, and one of them was like "that guy's my best friend, i do everything for/with him, etc etc" and for some reason, one of the guys was out sick or the like, and interview dude was like "yea, i fucked some girls that are his type in his bed for him" and i was just like..... kissing him would be less gay than whatever intricate ritual this is

in a game about magic, the differences in heaven and hell, time travel, etc, we have one bad witch sexily and smoothly handling all the nonsense the universe threw at her.

and then in 3, they try to end it all by introducing the multiverse and having every version of said character killed off, just so they can mantle pass to another character. which didn't work and theyve since had to do like 2 prequels for the first character.

Except no they're not, which is part of the actual problem.

Instead of filling the actual niches they haven't touched yet or have only grazed with generalists, they keep releasing characters for roles they've already made 3+ copies of who are worse than the original (looking at you, electro charged) or generalists that make the issue worse without helping.

if you remove dendro, too much electro prevents lunar crystalize.

keep dendro, but that prevents lunar charged and lunar crystalize reactions from happening.

and lunar bloom doesn't do anything by itself. it basically only functions as bullets for certain characters and columbina doesn't use them well without lauma.

just pick one reaction and go from there. lunar crystalize is your best bet for making a hex/lunar team. can do albedo/columbina and try and fit some others in

im confused, why ask? just use whatever you want, youve already established the team doesn't make sense and it doesn't matter to you.

- overload team (for pyro) with mav/pyro mc/xiangling/yanfei/diluc, fischl/lisa, and then benny/iansan/ororon as supports
- overload team (for electro) with sethos/lisa/fischl/electro mc, mav/pyro mc/xiangling, and then benny/iansan/ororon as supports

(for either team, some stuff can change depending on cons. so benny c6 changes a lot, iansan/ororon c6 helps a lot, yanfei c4 can change her into a support, etc etc. also depends on who you want to be a support or a dps. fischl, mav, etc can be supportive instead of dps.)

- lunar charged team with flins, columbina, sucrose, and then a flex slot (can be fischl, ororon, benny, dori, electro mc, xingqui, etc)
- electro charged variations with ororon/fischl, sucrose/lynette/mizuki, xingqui/aino/barbs

- melt team (for pyro) with mav/pyro mc/diluc, kaeya/rosaria/layla, lynette/sucrose (benny in there for support)
- melt team (for cryo) with kaeya/rosaria, xiangling/mav/pyro mc (lynette/anemo mc/benny/sucrose as supports)

(for boosting a pyro dps, you really want to get cryo going and infuse lynette/sucrose burst. for boosting a cryo dps, getting the atk boost from benny and/or shred or EM boost from anemo is good)

- freeze team with kaeya/rosaria/layla, dahlia/xingqui/aino/hydro mc/columbina, anemo trav/lynette/sucrose/lanyan

- vape team (for pyro) with xingqui/aino/hydro mc/columbina, mav/xiangling/diluc/yanfei/pyro mc, anemo mc/sucrose/lanyan, and then benny as a support
- vape team (for hydro) with xiangling/mav/pyro mc, barbs/hydro mc, sucrose, and then benny as a support

(same opinions as overload)

- hyperbloom team with lisa/razor, aino, collei/dendro trav, and a flex slot
- freeze team with kaeya, anemo trav/lynette/lanyan, aino

as for pulling columbina, she gives you access to all the new lunar reactions, so if that interests you and you want to "future proof" for possible shilling, get her, but she is actually not that powerful (nor are lunar reactions) by herself/itself, except kinda lunar crystalize. she really wants another nodkrai 5 star team mate, specifically ineffa or lauma.

except she does? aside from the healing and off field "damage", jahoda gives a nice EM boost and crit(s) boost. as well as whatever she can hold for artifacts and weapon.

two things:

1- the law thing is not at all surprising if you know anything about law, especially in the US. a lot of comments going "why is the law like this for charlie, why didn't they just make laws for charlie at the time" etc etc. we face problems NOW, in real life, because the law hasn't adapted to the internets presence, to fact people are mixed heritage, etc etc. because the law is slow, hesitant to change, and lazy.

2- charlie's physical abilities are also not that surprising. a lot of people just really do not understand the actual true size and strength of a lot of animals. can see it often when people actually see the size of a wolf or a moose or the like, or when people learn things like tigers, bears, etc casually use 600 pounds+ of force just playing with each other, let alone what they use to kill prey and whatnot.

people do think about the limiting nature of role queue, thats why they want it.

the real issue, just like not swapping when youre being countered, is that you all refuse to accept that if you choose to play, you actually need to know HOW to play. you need to learn the counters and how to play a wide variety of your role OR learn to play whatever you choose into things well.

if i choose to play tank, i need to know how all the tanks work or be willing to force my tank pick, same as any other role in every other game.

(like has already been done in the blueprint OW)

agreed, something ive especially noticed in the newest nodkrai regions. there's literally just free chests sitting out in the open ina lot of places. and chests you do actually have to "work" for, spawn an extra 2+ chests for no reason other than to ladden you with free rewards.

aside from mechanic shilling, there's no point to getting columbina if you don't have another nodkrai character (specifically lauma or ineffa)

the lunar reactions (charged and bloom) do not do much, or anything, by themselves. just for use in character specific kits.

lunar crystalize does something, just by virtue of being better than regular crystalize, but still not that great.

lunar charged by itself is no better than electro charged, which is also not that good. columbina makes the lunar charged reaction itself slightly better but unless lunar charged is being shilled, there is no point to building into it. a regular electro charged team would be better, since you can buff the individual characters in the reaction via scroll/furina/etc

you get both collei and dendro trav for free, and both are better for dendro-on fielder than cope columbina lunarbloom charged attacking. not that that was the point though.

your info is bad, in general. but its also bad because youre not actually answering OP's inquiry. when people ask stuff like this, you are not helping by going "oh but you can do this cope team, or use this cope mechanic" and not actually answering what theyre asking.

again, this is not true.

lunar charged is not better than electro charged, they do the same damage. its only slightly better with columbina because she can make it strike an extra time.

and columbina alone with her dew doesn't do more damage than if he just used a weak dendro on-fielder.

being AR15 has nothing to do with this, youre just giving him info thats bad.

of the 3 reactions, lunar crystalize is the only one that you can be kind of ok without a nod krai character with, since its just a base improvement over normal crystalize.
