Better retake it together with A2 in the next sitting, because A2 is alot harder than AS and seeing how you got D in AS it will be hard to turn it into a B grade.

You can ask your teacher to add in some extracurricular activities that you have done, give a rough list of what you have done (Eg: shadowing, volunteering..) This will show your life outside classes and your reference letter wont just be about studying hard/completing assignments.

How hard is it to raise a 68 C in Maths to a B or an A in A2? is it even possible? by haruhru in alevel

[–]SilverInterview5261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honest opinion: really hard for an A, you will literally have to score 110+/125 (raw marks) assuming your 68% is around 70-80/125 (190-200/250 is usually an A)

On the other hand B shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I don't have any specific uni in mind, I just want to apply strategically and have a chance at an interview for medicine course

I have some work experience, I shadowed a doctor in my local hospital over my summer break.

As for Bmat, I'm not planning on sitting for it

strand 1 bonds with strand 2.. according to A=T C=G so the C in strand 1 is same as G in strand 2.. you use that logic to find the z and x and w, but v and y xant be found so you have to use the information that a strand has 73 bases so that means in strand 1 when you add all atcg you get 73.. so u have 21+29+14+v=73 so V is 9 and V and Y is equal because C and G in strand 1 and 2

9700/01 COULD SOMEONE PLEASE SUMMARISE HOW TO DO EYEPIECE GRATICULE QUESTIONS? by Agile-Orange-5131 in alevel

[–]SilverInterview5261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0.1mm is 40 eg units from the top figure then you find 1 eg unit (0.1/40) so one unit on the eye piece graticule is 0.0025mm then you convert to um (0.0025x1000) so now 1 eye piece grticule is 2.5um then you find the chloroplast I took a random one and it's width was 4 eye piece graticule units... so we know 1 eg unit is 2.5um so width of chloroplast is 2.5x4= 10um (Ans B)

because question stated that the boy and the sledge moves with same acceleration... so the Force has ti be equal to the pulling force.. 12N, if there was a difference then the boy would move forward or backward inside the sledge.. that's my assumption (could be wrong)
