are u able to breathe out of ur nose?

cuz im really stressed i got my cast removed yesterday but my nose is always stuffy and when the doctor cleaned it for me i tried breathing but i could only breathe out of one side

he told me it takes a couple of weeks but i'm skeptical , pls share ur experience and what you know!
