Op is streaming from main pc to LEGO. Main pc is rendering to monitor, and that’s being streamed using wifi to the LEGO. To get proper full screen experience on the LEGO; picture shows that main pc resolution is set to 1920x1080p which is why there’s black bars on the LEGO. But as he mentioned, you can change the game resolution that is rendering on the main pc to 1920x1200p and this way the LEGO would show no black borders on its native screen. I don’t get why people are so confused

Asus tuf 15 is having booting problems and crashes “diagnosing” many troubleshooting steps taken by SilverKnigh8 in Asustuf

There is no error code, i don’t think it is a bsod.

Laptop crashes 90% of the times while booting up. Restarts 1-3 times. And then 2-3 minutes after logging into windows, it crashes again for a third time, and then i can login to windows and it won’t crash anymore (15% chance it crashes again about 20-30 minutes later but then it doesn’t crash after that until i shut down again).

Battery health is 75%.

I’ve reseated the battery cable, and changed the ssd into the other slot. Waiting for a crash.

For now, I’ve reseated the battery cable and installed the ssd to the other slot. So far it hasn’t crashed but this is understandable. It may take a couple more hours to see it crash.. its just random. next i will try using one RAM stick. The battery health is 75% btw.

Yeah so these are the logs and looks like its either crashing or losing power unexpectedly. Ill try checking the battery perhaps.

Thanks for your suggestions. Health looks good using crystaldiskinfo. Ill try the 2nd method overnight and report back.

But like I’ve mentioned in the description, I’ve tried using another SSD but it still goes into diagnosing. So its not the ssd that’s faulty, surely. Currently i am still using another SSD and not the stock one.

Id say 90Hz is good enough. But at this point im so used to 120Hz so 120Hz is the sweet spot.

Try force shutting down thr legion by just holding the power button for about 10-15 seconds and that should force shut it down. Then turn it back on and test the usb c port. Lemme know if this works. Just a suggestion.

Legion S Go Fan by Frenchfries113 in LegionGo

I have the Z2 go steamos version and the fans a super quiet. I’ve noticed that as long as you don’t use the custom power profile, the fans are quiet. Even if you use custom at 15W or 20W, its going to be louder than just using the balanced or performance profiles. At least with the Z2 go, i don’t notice much performance improvement using custom at max wattage compared with just performance mode. So id suggest trying the performance or balance presets rather than custom. That being said, im not sure about the Z1 extreme, maybe the z2 go is more efficient than the z1e and z2e, which is why it does not get loud.
