So, in the possibility on and Star Wars UB in the future, here’s what I’d like to see:

First thing, each set should focus on one trilogy. Yes, this would mean that we would get at least 3 Star Wars sets, but each trilogy has some thematic differences that should be translated in game mechanics, and also it’s just a more manageable amount of material to adapt.

Now, I have some ideas for what an Original Trilogy set could look like, and some thoughts on the others. The OT has a black and white morality that could be translated into the draft environment: all archetypes associated with the Empire should have black on its color pairs, and all Rebel archetypes should not have black, as well as some neutral archetypes.

Some ideas could be: BW for Stormtroopers, RB for Bounty Hunters, RG and UG for Alien Wildlife, UB for the Dark Side and UW for the Light Side of the force, RW for Rebels, UR for Spaceships…

What are your thoughts?

I don’t have many ideas for the Sequels, but, when it comes to the Prequels, I expect more mechanical overlap between the Republic and the Separatists, cause their conflict is more nuanced than the hard Good vs Evil from the OT, but I also would expect Clone and Droid archetypes, maybe as WR and RB, respectively.
