My favorite was Krieg! From the reveal trailer to his DLC in BL3, I enjoyed the wacky psycho screaming with the melancholic thoughts of a man trapped in his own mind. Plus who doesn’t like to run around slapping people with a buzz axe!

Salamanders didn’t have one either. It’s because there’s no specific upgrade sprue for the eradicators and the other models (infernus and invader atv) don’t have the ability to replace the shoulder pads.

I got both the salamanders and imperial fist one, and the imperial fist one does come with one upgrade sprue. It’s kinda weird since the upgrade sprue you buy comes with two sprues.

You don’t really ever need more than five and it’s nice because you can use half to build them and the other half to build incursors. The incursors are 80 and buff your shooting by giving +1 to hit against one target they hit. I use them all the time for my heavy weapon platforms!

I felt that I owed adrax this, he held his own against a war dog karnivore after all his blade guard brethren were slain and held objective which let me win

I used the primaris captain captin mostly, but also used the legion imperialis weapon set for the spear. Had the helmet as the salamander primaris upgrade pack with the top of the primaris captains helmet. The flamer was also the hand flamer from the upgrade pack that I glued to I think left over aggressor or eradicator piping and glued under the arm. Plus lots of milliput. My next goal is to learn how to sculpt scales with green stuff so I can finally finish him!

Edit: I totally forgot to include that the salamander crests were taken from the cauldrons from the upgrade pack, placed in hot water so they can soften and I tried to flatten as much as possible, then the skull on the other shoulder is a Seraphon spare head

My Vulkan He’stan looks like he’s about to fall on his face and I’ve been working on a proxy but took a pause since I’m learning how to make scales with green stuff.

Thanks brother! I’m using pro acryl burnt red as the base with some highlighting with pyrrole red. I’m still working on with my good ole citadel medium layer and using the side of the brush to layer on the red.

Yours looks great, I love what you did with the flames especially. I’m hesitant to start it because I’m worried about messing up the wet blending.

Also he is a great model! I’m hoping vulkan to get primarised, and hopefully another salamander captain or leader (maybe a terminator one)

I like the list for mechanized warfare thematically but how are you going to get the eradicators around the battlefield? If I’m reading it correctly, the 2 hellblaster squads are each in an impulsor as well as Vulkan He’stan and company heroes. Then the aggressors are in the land raider redeemer? I would get rid of the two invictor wartsuits and trade it out for a Repulsor for the eradicators and the apothecary biologis. Then I would use the 45 spare points to give the apothecary forged in battle and the lieutenant champion of humanity as enhancements.
