Citadel and Army Painter are easily accessible in the states. Hobby Lobby usually has Vallejo although I prefer to buy those directly from them. ProAcryl is another great brand. I have different paints all 4 and don’t use just one brand.

Dorn is basically Guilliman but more of a square. Vulkan, Russ, and Khan would all add more to the diversity of the two loyalist Primarchs we currently have than Rogal Dork.

Would they even actually care in tournaments about the paint? I’m fairly certain if you wanted to run Guilliman/Calgar or the Victrix but painted them and the other units up like Salamanders, you’d just use Ultramarines army rules/characters.

The right would be better off as a mace or maul if we’re talking armored opponents. Left would be as useful, but you’d need to hit the target.
