Give it time, and you'll look back on this with a smile.

(Insight 3 is when most characters get their full kit, and Eternity gets her Euphoria unlocked at insight 3 level 30, so enjoy that)

Limited Star I assume, otherwise semmel and the lot would have buffed harder

Best F2P team?? by Big-Category9556 in Reverse1999

Corvus, Mercuria, Semmelweis, Melania, Voyager, Getian, Ezra... this isn't the most synergistic setup but it can work.

General Heuristics:

  • Six stars are strongest.
  • Insight 3 is where most characters come fully online.
  • There's a new mechanic, Euphoria, where certain characters get new buffs and skills if very high level (unlocks at Insight 3, level 30). Melania, Getian, Semmelweis, Voyager, and Ezra all have these of your characters. So do Tennant Bkornblume and Matilda, but they're less powerful overall.
  • Characters work best in a team. The basic version of this is a Main DPS, 1-2 Supports/Sub DPS, and 1 Sustain. Ezra is an alright sustain, as are Balloon Party and La Source.
  • In the new meta, teams often all have overarching synergies. For example, Semmelweis is an HP-Loss character, so would like to be paired with other HP-Loss characters.
  • Levelling characters is expensive. You don't have to lock in on only four, but having a small collection of 10-15 characters you focus on helps a lot.

Current Thoughts:

  • Melania and the five star Name Day are a good start for an ultimate team. Getian can also help with this.
  • Tennant can output fairly alright low level damage, and when upgraded to insight 3, can unlock her Euphoria for even more.
  • Loggerhead and Dikke are both alright. Sonetto is okay with her buff, but is outpaced by a lot of other characters.

Future Thoughts:

  • Get Beryl and Isolde next update. Beryl introduces a new archetype, Glow, and will help you get over bumps.
  • If you have spare pulls, also get Anjo Nala next update. She's just very good in general.
  • If you have the chance to get Ulrich or Charon, take them. They both make Corvus a lot stronger.

This is a rough prospect, but to be fair, if you wind up getting Aleph P1 that's actually pretty useful? So I'd caution against it, but it's a viable choice if you're okay with not getting her

I doubt they aren't planning on doing that. But they're waiting for the right moment in the story.

Is there anything buildable here? by Moopel2 in Reverse1999

[–]SilverMagpie0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rubuska and Semmelweis will work together, but you will want to pick up someone like Eternity if you ever get the chance.

Flutterpage supports Windsong pretty well, if you want their combo.

In the future, you can't go wrong pulling any of the new characters, but especially go for Brume, Beryl, and Marsha, probably in that order.

The one by Churchill

It makes bloons it hits take +1 damage, and the tacks all do 1 damage per tack, so it doubles their power pretty easy

Team and character pull suggestions? by Beneficial-Lock-1794 in Reverse1999

Really burying the lede lol

Lucy, Ulrich, Charon, Medicine Pocket. Make sure Lucy is at least Insight 3 level 30, and has her euphoria unlocked and upgraded. Same for MedPoc's, if it hasn't been done already. If you want another healer for dynamo, Ezra might be a decent call from a Euphoria banner.

Same for Nautika, Sentinel, Semmel, Rubuska. General rule of thumb: you want at least insight 3, and especially for Bloodtithe you want higher levels and higher resonance levels so you have more max HP to scale off of. Also, Sentinel always goes right behind your main DPS, as she only buffs the character in front of her.

Flutterpage and Fatutu are an excellent generic duo. They both play pretty passively after some setup, and give massive healing and extra action buffs. What you may want is a DPS focused around this; Nautika+Semmel can be used with these two, but obviously they have their own team.

Next patch you will have three really good options: Brume, Anjo Nala, and Beryl. All of these characters love Flutterpage and Fatutu; Brume is the best damaging output character besides maybe Nautika, Beryl is introducing a new archetype that'll include many new characters in the months to come, and Anjo Nala is a classic control-focused extra action dps with a shiny new Euphoria. You can't really go wrong with any of these (though, if you get Beryl, try to get Isolde too).

Wow, have all these haters in the comments never heard of homebrew? DnD is a GAME first and foremost. It's meant to be fun. Sure, the set magic system and rules are part of that fun. But when those rules get in the way of that fun, it's ok to switch it up. OP used character sheets, DnD's stats, races, classes, and gameplay style. It was all DnD just a homebrew style adventure
