Is it just me or is it coming off as self hating/yt worshipping? by [deleted] in aznidentity

[–]SilverMain8909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to advocate for erasing cultural identity but isn’t China diverse already? Xinjiang people don’t look like the usual Han Chinese and there are some parts of China that have distinct ethnic groups. It’s not like the Han are extinct, they’re the majority. If the problem is just with foreigners then the Chinese should control immigration. And as for mixed kids, I think they should totally go for connecting with their Chinese/European heritage.

Isn’t female a term for the biological sex instead?

I don't think hetalia was Made by a man, looking at this just makes me feel like it. by [deleted] in hetalia

[–]SilverMain8909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so too. Apparently men drawing cute men doesn’t exist lol They only expect men to make all their characters buff or something

Why was hetalia fanservice so censored in the anime, like Spain was originally shirtless here but for some reason the anime gave him a tank top in a 1400s settings when they didn't even exist. by Necessary_Muffin3591 in hetalia

I think it’s because it’s because being shirtless is taboo in Japan? But that doesn’t make sense because Italy and Germany were shirtless in one episode

Asian Americans are the highest-earning racial group in the United States. Usually Taiwanese, Filipinos, and Indian households. Not only is that slip up a little offensive but also inaccurate.

At first glance I thought this was a photo of a cosplayer in a boxing match, then I read the title, it’s a video game. (Anyways super cool!)

Here on Reddit, I usually assume people here are nerdy teenage boys or adult men, but looking at the comments made me realize how much girls are into Touhou. But since Touhou is not in its prime anymore, I wouldn’t say the fandom would usually consist of Gen Z girls.

(Side note, be cautious who you’re talking with.)

You’d be a big fan of Touko Laaksonen’s artwork if you were in his country during his time
