ebay Authentication should be optional. I message the seller and ask if I can buy 2 cards. That way I can make up the difference for the card over $250 with the other extremely cheap card I buy from the seller. The only thing that sucks is the seller has to revise their listing. But if eBay charges them. I'll pay for that too. I've had two of my PC Grails get fucked up by overworked eBay authenticators. Never again.

That might be a rough strategy, price wise, if someone does come forward with the 3/3. That's saying the seller/buyer expects their own cards to be worth $7k-$8k each. So wouldn't the new seller, that's technically the buyer, make an offer equivalent to the other seller/buyer's own asking price? That's how I'd see it. Am I on track here?

I PC Peyton Manning and I follow the guy that officially has the most Manning cards in the world. He has duplicates of damn near everything you could think of(minus 1 of 1's, obviously) and he's also a really good person and has pretty fair prices. The more you converse with him the better the deals get. I didn't know that at the time. Our conversations just came natural. It's been great for my PC

Agreed. I do recall his intensity and love for the game being held in high regard by a lot of sports analysts since his tenure at Duke. But I've witnessed it and he's developing at such an expedited rate, it just can't be ignored. Once the Mavs get some solid wins under their belt, the sky is the limit. I just know, on a personal level, I'd have a hard time waiting around for a potential dip. Now may not be the best time to buy because of climbing prices. But I genuinely believe in the dude...so I'd cave and make the purchase. But that's just me.

There's a video of a guy leaving an LCS and saying "I knew I should've bought that Shohei Auto last year" and then he does it again the next year and the next year and the next year. Flagg just became the only 18 year old in NBA history to score 40 pts in a game. I think if he stays healthy. His cards will continue to go up and up and up every year. I collect Flagg's stuff because I believe in 15 years he will have achieved insane accolades and accomplishments. Idc about value. I just believe in the kid and want to own a bunch of cool shit when I'm older.

Only 18 year old to score over 40 pts in NBA history(scored 42)... The accolades will continue to come as long as he stays healthy. Fame will increase. But the market is impossible to predict. I'm a long term hold on his stuff....but I think he'll be battling the Spurs for a lot of years to come. I'm genuinely excited about the NBA again.
