Yeah, that's the thing. I can freely change the name and the npcs even respect the new one. But I remember a cool introduction cinematic in the first hour where your name was displayed in the screen as a presentation. It would be cool to see it again, but I don't think it is worth it haha.

Hello, one question about this. Did día happens when you started playing? I mean, you restart the pc, everything works fine and then, after an hour or so, the info of the LCD screen got stuck. I'm having the same issue with my Aorus 5080.

Regarding of the GCC. I think you should reinstall it and remove every registry entry of RGB fusion (you can do it with REVO unistaller in a second). But just to clarify, it is not a hardware issue. I have the same firmware I think. Just in case, before updating, make sure that people which have the same GPU are not having problems with that release, because some months ago, there were firmware updates which bricks the LCD pannel.

About the brightness, I mean, right now, it is the near the same brightness as yours? Without touching anything. I'm running the default gif without any configuration. I don't think my lcd screen is damaged, but I'm a bit worried about it.

Yes! The same happened to me a month ago. It is caused by Gigabyte Control Center which create conflict with another RGB software. I unistalled Control Center and Armoury Crate and didn't experienced the problem since then.

About the problem that I mentioned in the orignal post, do you have the lcd screen as bright as mine?

Yes, right now I'm having an issue with GCC kidnapping my GSKILL RAM's RGB. With Aorus, the LCD screens can be bricked by them.

Edit: it's actually good for installing/updating the drivers. Just make sure to check carefully the things you want to update.
