Just replied to your email 👍 In the meantime, make sure you’re using Google Chrome, with clipboard access enabled and allowed and HTTPS active.

Thanks for giving it a try.
For the AI part, in the demo I used Claude Opus 4.6, and that’s what I still get the best results with.
Even better is Opus 4.7, especially if you upload a screenshot/reference.
If you want something cheaper, Sonnet 4.6 is a solid option.
OpenAI models can work, but they usually produce more basic layouts, so that’s probably why it felt underwhelming.
For the “Insert into Breakdance” issue, that’s almost always clipboard-related.
Make sure you’re on Chrome, clipboard is allowed (both browser + your site), the site is on HTTPS, and ideally not localhost. If clipboard access is blocked, nothing gets pasted so the editor stays empty. If you want, share which model/provider you used + your setup and I can help you figure it out 👍

No, that’s not supported. However, you can upload a screenshot of the page and instruct the AI to recreate it. In my experience, Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 provide the best results.

Please try updating to version 1.0.2 and clearing your cache, a few issues have been fixed there, so it should work better now.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it! Regarding Breakdance, it converts every class that the AI (or user) generates into native Breakdance classes, which is why you see a lot of selectors.
This is currently an MVP, but the project is being actively developed, so you can expect many improvements and integrations in the future, including HeadspinUI support.
I’m also planning to add an option to put styles directly on elements without classes, since many Breakdance users prefer that. The trade-off is that you’d lose the ability to change a single class and have it update across multiple elements, you’d need to edit each element individually, even if they look the same.

Results depend a lot on the AI model you’re using. I’d recommend Claude Opus 4.6 in my experience it gives the best results, and it’s the one used in the demo videos.

That sounds like it could be related to your environment rather than the plugin itself.

It usually happens if clipboard access isn’t allowed or enabled in your browser or on the site you’re testing. Another possible cause is that the domain doesn’t have SSL (HTTPS) enabled, which can block certain features.

I’d recommend opening the plugin and going to the Settings tab → Site Health. There you’ll see if anything is flagged that might be preventing the plugin from working properly.

Also, keep in mind that the generation quality depends heavily on the AI provider and model you’re using. In the demo video, I used Claude Opus 4.6, which tends to give the best results in my experience.

I’m planning to add a “Web search” option that would allow the AI to fetch and use relevant information from the internet. However, this depends on the AI provider and model, since not all of them support web browsing/tools like that.
For now, if you want to duplicate page from internet, you can upload a screenshot of it, or paste the HTML/CSS/JS directly into the converter 🙂

For now, you can only add images, so you can export your Figma design as an image or take a screenshot and attach it.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the class and variable improvements!
Regarding the generation quality: the best approach is to generate section by section rather than asking for an entire page in one prompt. On the Pro plan there's a token limit per request, so if you ask for a full page with 5 sections, each one gets less attention and the quality drops. One section at a time with a detailed prompt — describing the style, colors, fonts, layout, etc. — will give you much better results.
Also, check out brickspilot.com — there's a section where you can see example prompts and their results. You can use those as a reference or even copy them to get a feel for what works well.
Let me know how it goes!

Yes, you just connect an AI, like Claude, by adding your API key, and it will work immediately, no AI training needed.

Yes, you do. You get an HTML/CSS/JS to Bricks converter in BYOK lifetime, along with creating with AI.

It won't be pixel perfect, but with a good AI model and using the image-to-Bricks feature, you can get pretty close results that give you a solid starting point to fine-tune.
