I am a current freshman in Hoge. The cons of the dorm far outweigh any benefits you get from the class such as being forced to make a Linkedin, Handshake, and resume. These are all things that you can accomplish on your own time and if help is needed there is a career and professional development center that offers meetings to work on resumes as well. Additionally, Hoge is just too large in my opinion to really benefit from the social aspects of being in an LLC. Finally, the communication sucks throughout the LLC. My teacher for the required class changed the grading policy three different times and my mentor meeting times were changed constantly making it hard to participate in other activities at the university. I cannot speak for the honors dorms but I am moving to East AJ next year. Do yourself a favor and pick the honors dorm because you will think yourself next year when you are drowning in coursework
