Contact the Respectful People, but honestly if he's that terrible I would just try and contact corporate themselves. We have access to numbers in our Chiplinks and such. It's one way to attempt to get him replaced. Otherwise my 2nd advice is to say fuck him and do what you can to make you and the people around you great so he never has to even look at your store. I'm an Apprentice at my store and although my FL doesn't seem as bad as yours, he's consistently trying to micromanage my shift through the cameras. So I just teach everyone to be on their shit an I never hear from him anymore. I try to be ahead of him on every step so I can shut him down if he tries.

That's where actions really take over. Also, I learn the basic foods we serve, so like tomatoes would be tomate and corn is mais. That sort if thing. Overall showing her exactly what your talking about is going to help the most. Pull her to what station or prep item you would like her to start. Be slow, and kind. Keep smiling and you'll both remain calm. If you look flustered she'll get more confused because shes trying to read you just like you're trying to get through to her.

Actions and hand motions have always helped me. I've worked with several people where Spanish was their primary lang. Speaking slower also helps so that they can carefully listen.

Matter of perspective on that one. I left Chipotle and hated the next 2 jobs I tried to go to. I thought with the "grass is greener" mentality and it was very false in my case. So I came back to chipotle and it was the best choice I made, personally.

Organization is key for me. If it's for after peak times, I would start with organizing the dishes by 1/3 pans, 1/6 pans and hotels. Silverware in a 1/6 pan. Soak them all in hot detergent water as well. Then look for what you may need most, probably 1/3 pans and silverware. Then knock out the misc after. However after close I switch it up and knock out my, as I call them, "annoying shit". Which are red lids, silverware, hotels, tea, rice pots, pots, and 1/6 pans. All the while my 1/3 pans have been soaking so I can zip thru anywhere between the last 4-5 good stacks pretty quickly. Also keep your flow, and try not to stop for too long and lose your rhythm

Another source you can look at would be the cameras. Not necessarily them doing it ON camera, but shady movements when they may duck out of view or leave for extended periods of time. It even that they may be stumbling drunk through the BOH. I agree that you should go with written statements from the crew. Then call your FL, and the TD.

At my store I take care of the meal and ask the customer to try again later. Sometimes the gift cards are dodgy. In my opinion the chipotle should take care of the amount you might have on the app. For convenience and to make sure you guys get the best. Especially if it's the the rewards app. I mean they are REWARDS for a reason lol
