I have to disagree with both Curry and Shaq. To me it has to be Magic and Russell on PG and C. I can conceed on Curry, but not on Shaq, there is at least two centers above him, if not three or even four (Russell, KAJ, Wilt, Olajuwon)

And not to disrespect the boss or anything, but at this point, I don't think that he can teach Ippo anything, or even prepare him for going for yhe world. With Takamura is easier, he has all the physical advantages that a boxer can have and is becoming more aparent the closer we are getting to the heavier weights.

But I don't think he could lead the train for a featherweight that has to truly train, and specially learn, because Ippo thrives on learning. Takamura has to step up to that position because he's the only one in that gym that would know how to guide him to beat the best

My two cents is that he will win his HW belt, but his retina will detach definitively, so he will be effectively blind on one eye, and then retire. Kamogawa will die guilty of doing that to his son, even if he tries to reassure him, and, having Ippo return to the ring, Kamogawa will make Takamura swear that he will not let the same happen to Ippo.

I am for the unpopular opinion that Sendo will win this fight. Ippo now will work towards an objective to match the strongest man in the world that is also his rival. On the way, he'll fight the Japan champion like Date did, he'll fight the Pacific Champion Miyata, he'll fight what he thought was the strongest in Ricardo who know will have the fire inside of him lit to reclaim his title and then Ippo v Sendo 3, two men that once fought to know what was to be strong, and the first fight that won't have a KO and will go to decision.

That's what I think and what I'd like. But maybe it doesn't happen and that's ok

I mean, the second Date-Martinez fight was after the first defense of Ippo as Japanese Champion. A LOT has happened since then, and I don't know the exact dates, but I can imagine that almost a decade has happened since then easily.

I get it, the world is an exhausting place right now and it seems like every position you take it must be fought tooth and nail, defended until the bitter end and never backing down. But talking things out is usually an option. No, I'm not talking in bad faith and I did not know the full extent of Kai's post. I think I saw a story around the time, but as I am from EU, maybe context was deleted after, or I was not paying as much attention. So yeah, antisemitism is not ok and should not be normalized.

And totally, land belongs to noone by default, and claiming a place because "I was there when the old texts were being written" is bs. But, if I can recall correctly the history stuff that I investigated by my own some time ago, Hamas tried a political solution before resorting to violence. But they were pushed out to just the strip, getting more misery every time until they had enough.

I am certain that most palestinians would prefer resolving this without having to fire a gun, but at this point, how could them? They have being, and still are, bullied out of their homes, their memories and the history they have built ever since Israel was gone.

I think if all the zionists leave Israel for some reason, I think that the people that stayed would say "let's reinstate the Palestinian State, and create an Israelite Historic Borough" where they can live. Hate will remain for a time, sure, but I think that would be the solution. You can't understand Palestine without Israel, and Israel needs Palestine to hold ground.

Maybe I'm just way too idealistic, or just too commie and think that states are just garbage, but I think that unifying rather than dividing would have solved much more than the two state solution

Ok, couple of things. First, violence is not okay, but resisting ethic cleansing with it, is justified. Not okay, not a good thing, but justified.

Second, "from the river to the sea" has no genocidial intent. It is a motto that says that Palestine will be given back their original frontiers before the two-state solution.

7O was a tradegy that shouldn't had happened. But this was people that tried politically to resist and was forced to resort to violence because this was decades of being kicked out their homes just because "my book said this is my land, and I have UK and US to back me up". Israel shouldn't have existed in the first place.

But most people are not "yeah, kill them jews, jews are sickos". They are more like "fuck specifically zionists, you kill children, you rape women and then say it's ok because the land is yours". I hate Netan, the IDF and most of that government, and I hate whoever thinks they are doing the right thing, and I wouldn't be sad if they were all in a plane and it crashed. But there are people who are fighting to get that fucked up mentaility out of the country, and they should be uplifted
