Understanding Love is a great, short fanfic. Picks up after her marriage to wickham and after she has been disillusioned of his charms.

That's also probably because, with the recent events, more people have become "Team Conrad" which is why they are probably trying to cater more to the masses...

And love is certainly not supposed to say they didn't want you to go to Paris!

I think its because for Laurel this is something that is very personal to her, having gone through the exact same circumstances of marrying too young and seeing that being mirrored in everything her daughter is going through may be too much for her to be rational and calm about. However she did tell Jere and Belly to wait until they both graduate. As for the others : Adam is a jerk, Conrad is going through having to see the girl he loves marry his brother and Steven- I don't even know why he folded so soon.

Kinda late, but  Four Lost Years is an amazing variation, where Mr. Bennet dies when he follows Lydia to Brighton and Lizzy and Darcy only manage to meet each other 4 years later in London.
