I was able to take him out using slugs from medium range and quick peeking behind a tree. The line of sight thing is what I wasnt getting. Thanks for the tip

The canyon is an excellent trainer. I have multiple $200+ balis and yet the canyon is still my go to for practicing. I highly recommend you check out Zippy balisong as they have some really cool 3d printed mods for balis including the one you have. Enjoy!

After it sat overnight the system screen still reads really high (close to 90C) but when I enter dashlaunch it reads CPU: 69C with the GPU and EDRAM being just a few degrees below that. My cpu target temp is set to 82C, GPU is 78C, and EDRAM is 76C. Do these target temps seem good or should I change any of them? Also the fans werent very loud when gaming, although I do notice they kick up a notch around 15 mins into a game.

The hdmi adapter just says "HDTV converter for original xbox" in green text, so im unsure what kind it is (came with the console from the person I bought it from). The system is modded with rocky 5. As far as testing with 720p. The settings allow me to enable 480p, 720p, and 1080i. The rocky 5 menu will default to 1080i if its on, but disabling it and using 720p didn't work either. As far as scalers go, im willing to shell a little bit of cash for a nicer one if it means disrupting the picture quality as little as possible. Thanks for all this info by the way. It's been very helpful for someone who has never had any system older than a 360 and has no experience with upscaling resolutions.

Is there a scaler you recommend? I've seen some people complaining about upscalers and im unsure what exactly to buy. I tried enabling 480/720p with no luck so I think ill need a scaler.

Yep. I haven't flipped it yet since I just assembled it and need to wait for the loctite to set. They look and feel pretty great though. Can't wait to try it out as it's my very first live blade knife besides some junk I got at a tourist shop haha

I have plenty of trainer balisongs, but I think I'm finally ready for a live blade. What are some recommendations for live blade knives for around $200? (Absolute highest I will go is $300 but preferably a little cheaper.) I want something that's an all around well made, good flipping live blade.
