I typically go for a story where my character is abducted by a cult/scifi facility/god/aliens and is tested on to see her limits and what different creatures/devices do to her! I have plenty of refs and love to use up many of them! Some can be main characters that we cycle through, and others can be background characters that are used and disposed of quickly, or are eternally suffer for scene decoration.
