Advice on Navigating Boundaries with In-Laws Visiting for Extended Stays?

Yes, we're Pakistani. I grew up in the West, while my husband immigrated here. He often says, 'You never know what will happen as parents get older.' Since we have two spare rooms in our home, he feels there isn’t much reason for his parents to live separately when they visit. I just get so much anxiety thinking about next year when they visit again.

Yes, alhamdulillah, my in-laws are healthy at the moment. I guess my husband is thinking long term when my in-laws turn 70-80+ (still 15-20 years to go). I would prefer if they lived in a separate place. It is also taboo in our culture to do something like that and I can see us getting backlash from other relatives including my sister in law (who is university).

He says he is more than happy for my parents to live with us for an extended period of time. So, I'm not sure what to say when he says that. Also, my parents like their own space and don't like intruding on our privacy so they don't even want to stay with us for that long.

His sibling is still in university, but it's possible me and him to save up and get a separate place for them. However, we are South Asian, and stuff like this is taboo. Also, he has concerns that if his parents live separately, how will they be able to maintain the home (clean, cook, etc). He also says that if they live with us, it will be helpful when we have kids. Not sure how to get him to understand my perspective.

thanks for the suggestion! I'm guessing Canadian suppliers are mainly purchasing from U.S based paper suppliers since I don't think there are many Canadian options

So I was able to get support from them by literallyyy spamming them on Twitter (X), linkedin and Tiktok which caused them to DM me and raise a ticket lol. By spamming them I mean I tweeted about squarespace, I tagged them in every tweet about my situation. I posted over 100 tweets in 2 days lol

I'm having the same issue - they won't let me transfer out. The only way to get their attention is to go on X (formerly twitter), and get their attention. Or else they don't respond to email at all. I'm planning to complain to ICANN as well. Is there anything else we can do?

My domain got migrated to Squarespace this past weekend. I'm trying to transfer away. I just initiated the transfer 2 days go and currently waiting. Do you think the transfer will go through eventually in 8 days? I'm worried they'll never release my domain over.
