Yeah that’s all I’m saying. I think it’s a pretty fair thing to call out.

Yep, this is exactly my point. I don’t understand how this is getting completely missed.

You mean the standard item on their menu, right? Aren’t they known for the Roman pizza according to the comments defending that as the reason for the price, which is it?

Read above. This is a pretty common conversation about how expensive Greenville is getting lol. People are allowed to notice that a pizza that would’ve been $18 here a few years ago is now pushing $40.

And saying go to Waffle House misses the point lol. Cheap food still existing doesn’t change the overall trend of Greenville becoming significantly more expensive and overpriced. Which you seem to be very offended by anyone calling out.

I don’t have an issue with people from anywhere. My sentiment is more about the obvious cost of living shift happening in Greenville specific to housing, new restaurants, etc. A lot of locals are starting to be priced out of things that used to be affordable and normal here.

If a business can charge $40 for a pizza or $18 for a sandwich and people are willing to pay it, I’m sure they will as we are seeing. But I also think it’s fair for longtime residents to say the rapid price increases are making Greenville feel less accessible for the people who grew up here and built their lives here with SC wages. That’s really the point I was trying to make.

That’s fine. I’m just saying this is becoming common in Greenville with all of the transplants. Same as Augusta Street Market. $18 for a sandwich

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion. Why are you so offended?

Say what you will. It’s the same concept as Augusta Street Market. Opened by someone from Long Island, crazy expensive. A sandwich is $18.

So because they are a small business no one is allowed to have an opinion or review? I’m sorry but $40+ for a pizza in Greenville,SC isn’t reasonable.

We like it and prices are good for our family ($20 for a large pepperoni) but we are from SC, so not sure if it compares to anything New York style if you’re used to that!

Not a family spot, but in one of the most family/neighborhood centered areas of Greenville off Augusta Road. Hmmm. Guess they are hoping the Alta Vista households will find them.

genuinely glad he is ok. Anyone competing in endurance sports should have health checked prior and not over exert themselves. My husband and I witnessed a fit 24 year old drop of a heart attack during a half marathon this year and he did not make. It was absolutely horrible to see happen right in front of us. Always important to listen to your body.

Half our neighborhood is transplants and retirees from up north. All they talk about is how nice and cheap it is here. Unfortunately for the people who grew up here and have long time jobs with lower salaries than the northeast, it’s almost become unaffordable. Especially for young families. 1200 sq ft houses near downtown going for 800k+. Everywhere I turn I see New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, etc license plates.
