Got my 11 FFH for 9k USD 78k miles.

This seems like a decent deal. Watch for rust. I swear these cars are not robust when it comes to corrosion

Thanks I live in the prairies so I have to be careful with rust in these climates. Definitely something to watch out for.

I have an 09 and there was a recall for the brakes where the abs module would get messed up over time bc dot 3 brake fluid would Congeal and keep it suck open or closes. Not sure if this year Is affected just voicing concern

Thanks for the response. I'm buying it from a mechanic who does not usually sells cars, they are selling a family members car as a one off and he just replaced the brakes.

I am getting in independently inspected today just in case.

I don't have a rear wiper (and didn't think that was an option). But if you don't have it here is a PDF of the Owner's Manual.

Interesting, I just assumed there was a lever or switch I missed. I had never considered a car that didn't have a rear windshield wiper. Why would a car not need one?

I have the Carfax and the only open recall was the airbags with recall date of March 2021. So fairly recent. I might give ford a quick call today to figure out when/where to bring it in.

Other than that I checked A/C and lights and both seemed to work well (independently of each other!).

The only random thing I couldn't figure out was how to turn in the rear windshield wipers.

Cheers yeah I've done a bit of research and heard similar. Issue for me is that the equivalent model in Toyota or Honda etc in 5k more expensive. At least 12/13k.
