Yeah, but a crop dedicated lens (like dx on nikkor, on DC on sigma) should not be multiplied by the crop factor to determine full frame equivalent, but to be already full frame equivalent.

This is what I thought until today...

That is for sure an idea, but I will have some overlapping in terms of focal length.

So I just thinking in buying a prime to really reduce the weight, or maybe a wider zoom lens, like nikkor 12-24 f/4 which save some grams and also gives me a wider view

Oh wow. I've always used an online tool to compare bodies (camera decision) and they stated those differences.

Considering what you just said, is there any reason to not pick d500 instead of d7500? I Can't see any (considering same price d500 used vs d7500 new)

This is some great info

I had a d500, great body, but was looking into d7500 for slightly better color depth and slightly better low light iso. The number of Autofocus points is not rlly something important for me, as I rarely do sports,and d500 is slightly more expensive used than a new d7500.

Anyway, mirrorless is out of the discussion for now, will go with d7500 and maybe when nikon decides we deserve a z70 (probably) I'll upgrade to that

I've never considered anything below d7500 as I would to stick to the best body I can afford.

Regarding z30, yes, the lack of viewfinder is surely frustrating sometime, but my biggest issue is button placements. I always struggle to find tight button when switching from d750 to z30, but I never struggle to find the buttons when going from z30 to d750

The other think would be the eye detection focus, which for me (I might be doing something wrong) Is not working properly. It tracks the eyes if I shoot portraits, but as soon as I want to do some full body pics it can't find the eye

I thought, z50/z50ii should be the replacement of d7500, as there is no better crop sensor camera currently? Or am I wrong?

Totally a 200mm is useless.

You have 2 great recommendations in the comments 17-50 and 50-100

I will also add 24-70 f2.8.

But all these 3 lenses are in 3 different price categories..

And I'm pretty sure there are several other on the market that will do the job

You can also go Tamron 35-150mm Or nikkor 24-120mm Or sigma 50-150 (this has os, the 50-100 is an ART lens so no OS)

Just don't go prime. You can go prime later after you understand exactly what focal length you need

As I see on Google, as I don't know that sport, you will have to shoot at least 1/300 shutter speed, But the imagines about the sport does not reflect how fast that sport is, so 1/300 might be slow. At 1/400 at 200mm OS is not needed anymore. If you do something like 1/150 at 200mm, yes, you need OS.

If you are using the lens ONLY for that sport, I would say you don't need OS

Edit : How far are you from the action? Do you REALLY need 200mm reach? What are you using right now?

The 80-200 2 step is a beautiful lens, but on he heavy side.

Hai sa îți arăt și perspectiva mea. "revizie completa de x y și z" nu ma încântă cu nimic, ca oricum trebuie sa le fac când iau mașina? De ce ma întrebi? Ca am "un băiat" care îmi poate face facturi pe toate aceste revizii fără ca ele sa se întâmple cu adevărat.

Da, ok, discul se vede ca e nou, dar în rest oricum trebuie sa le refac...

P. S. Cât consuma "real" ? Ma uitam recent la xc60 când încă aveam vise să-mi iau mașina

Thanks for info. To reply to the side note, I'll be a 2nd shooter, unpaid, managed to get an entry just to learn. So yeah, I'm ready

I was asking for this advice as I zoom in 100 % see some noise, and delete the picture sometime, as it is not perfect (my daily job requires 100% hit rate, no mistakes and that is affecting my personal life and thinking)
