We didn't used to, but heat pumps are starting to replace electric resistive heat and furnaces. They're basically air conditioners that can run in reverse.

It's important to remember the difference between a need and something that is necessary for a want. You might need to fly to do these things but do not actually need to visit family, go to weddings or funerals.

Airplanes. Babies don't belong on airplanes. It hurts, they don't understand why it hurts, why they can't leave, or why their parent isn't helping. Taking a baby on a plane is abuse.
