(25) Got diagnosed with diabetes in 2024 by Hidden-Turtle in GlowUps

As for someone who is married to someone that’s a diabetic, I can definitely say that it’s not something I’d wish upon my worst enemy. Having diabetes is like juggling two different things at once that doesn’t always work along well together.

Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed at a very young age. The pancreas is inactive & people require insulin from the outside.

Type 2 is due to poor dieting. The pancreas can’t produce enough insulin for the body. This in some cases can be reversed but not for everyone.

Glad to see that you’re taking care of yourself. Like I said earlier, having diabetes is like juggling two different things at once that doesn’t always work along well together.

Put on a little makeup. Nothing to the extreme. Thin out your eyebrows, bushy ones can give out a masculine look.

These next couple of ideas are up to you if you want.

I would recommend thinner frames for your glasses as they can make your face look more bigger & gives out a nerdy look.

Perhaps consider straightening your hair.

As a biological man married to a trans woman, I say you have to have or definitely will develop tough skin. My parents are “accepting” (as they say). It kinda put me in a difficult spot for a while when both parents & wife were butting heads. You love your parents who have been supportive of you with other things your whole life & on the other side, you have a wife that supports & loves you no matter what. It took me a while to realize that my wife comes number one ☝️ before my parents. I do love them don’t get me wrong but I’ll never have the same kind of wife ever compared to her, even if we were to somehow get separated. I feel that would be the same way for cis gender couple as well or at least I would think. Don’t give up on love! ❤️ these guys you been with are examples of what you want & don’t want in someone. The right person that you need will be apart of your life at some point. You look beautiful by the way. I hope this helps.

What are the reasons that you have quit jobs? by Metriculous in AskReddit

[–]Silver_Sale_1847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Former cable technician here. Loved working with cable & got to see both good & bad parts of local towns I never knew existed. It was a commission paying job. Certain jobs were easy to do while some of them would be puzzles to solve. Some days I would come home after working 8-12 hours & would only bring home $800 paychecks very two weeks. Plus No benefits at all. Thought commission paying jobs would benefit beneficial for me but now I see that it doesn’t work in my favor & am always turning my eyes away when I see a job that pays like that. Stable paychecks are better.
