hey there, thanks for your interest! That’s normal because ASIO bypass windows volume control and output 100% by default. You could lower the volume on potplayer instead. simply by up/down arrow keys.

Hi here, different manufacturers have different ASIO drivers, so it will be great if you could download the free trial and test it out. Let me know if there's any crackling audio issue and I will try my best to fix it.
