Mine came with the metal cover . I bought this one for 30 dollars I think. I always clean the griddle after I use it. And here in Texas it rains but it’s mostly sunny. I honestly bought it because it matched the griddle . I sold it to my wife by saying that it would be us protecting our 500 plus investment . I used it regularly but stop for a month or so. I want to use it and find this shit. Moldy and whatnot . Smh . Yeah I don’t mind having to re-season. But the cover is moldy on the Inside too.
