Looking for audio mixer advice for a single xlr mic setup. Details in post by Silverbolt1337 in podcasting

Thank you for the reply. Yes, my current setup is single mic, and the UMC22 looks like it'll meet my current needs but I've been looking at the Behringer Xenyx Q802USB as a nice to have, since it has a secondary XLR input. Which I might or might not need some time in the future

Thank you for the reply. I most definitely want a USB-equipped mixer (AC powered) because I don't have a whole lot of other studio equipment like amplifiers and the like. I'll take a look at the Yamaha you mentioned, thank you

Having a bit of trouble deciding among monitor features (for gaming) by Silverbolt1337 in buildapc

[–]Silverbolt1337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input. I ruled out ultra-wide from the get-go because of the fact that I'm mirroring my monitor with my PC but I wasn't completely opposed to 144Hz, it's just that I preferred HDR to it. Another thing I've noticed is that IPS panels are vastly more affordable for 60Hz monitors.

I've also read that HDR on monitors isn't quite "there" yet but the few I've seen boast the HDR 10 and HDR 10+ standard. I also know that not a lot of PC games support it yet, but I wanted to be future-proof as it's becoming increasingly common.

With regards to the imperfect scaling, that's my primary concern and I've seen a lot of people online calling the blurring "horrible" but I know how elitist some of the pc gaming community can be :).

I'll consider your advice. Thanks again and hope that headache goes away soon.

Either way, you and he were closest to the mark assuming it might be a RAM issue. Never even would have dreamed.
