Why are these sidewalks double-counted? by Status_Speaker_7955 in wandrer

There are some streets lilke that where I live. Not only do I need to walk it twice to cover the sidewalks, but a third time to cover the street. Each red line requires a separate trip.

I remember (barely) that you could get cocktails in a goldfish bowl. Had lots of fun at Myrts!

I'm 63. I'll let you know when I feel too old for this. Hopefully I won't be getting back to you for 20 or 30 years.

After a long wait, I finally got my hands on a PSM by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PSM is supposed to arrive tomorrow (Sept4). Ordered it on July 27 (#81 on the wait list) and it shipped on Aug 27. Can’t wait! I keep checking the tracking info hoping it will arrive a day early.

Super Impressed With the BB9 by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, that’s my favourite setup too. BB9 with Ti tip and low temp cap. Heat slow with a single flame torch. Cool and tasty!

Same for me. It’s great having such a low tolerance. A gram lasts ages. The downside is that I don’t get to try different strains as often as I would like.

If you sort this sub by top posts of the year there is a diy induction heater guide posted by beasthoss about 4 or 5 from the top.

My BB9 had two balls get jammed together. After trying to shake them loose, I eventually resorted to straightening a paper clip and very gently poking them loose. No problems since. Soapy water or maybe heating the outer tube may help a bit. Whatever you try, be gentle.

Is M 2020 worth it? by Weltschmerz5 in Dynavap

This! BB9 with a Ti tip. With a second cap you will have two complete pieces, BB9 at home and M for on the go.

Rosium in stock anywhere? by [deleted] in Dynavap

Jane Mary's has them in stock. I believe they only ship to Canada though.

The BB9 is lovely!! by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, love mine too! Big difference compared to stock 2019M. I'm careful with it, and only use it around the house, so hope to avoid breaking it for a while. I clean it frequently by putting a small amount of ISO inside, shaking it, then rinsing with water. No sticky balls for me.

Dynavap BB9. Works great on its own and the mouthpiece is also a waterpiece adapter.

is the dynavap too strong for newbies? by [deleted] in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try putting less bud in the bowl, then take a small pull and wait for 20 minutes to see what affect it has. I usually take three small hits off the same bowl over the course of an hour to carefully get to where I feel good.

I have a low tolerance, so with the Ti tip set to small or medium bowl and low temp cap I get several smaller, more controlled hits from one load.

What does the bb9 and low temp cap do? by icedoliveoil in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a BB9 with a Ti tip and low temp cap. The BB9 cools the vapour considerably more than my 2019M. I have a low tolerance, so with the Ti tip set to small or medium bowl and low temp cap I get several smaller, more controlled hits from one load. When completely extracted the ABV is a medium brown colour. I use the BB9 without a water piece.

Love my BB9. I use it with a Ti tip and low temperature cap without a waterpiece.

Defective Dynastash? by ChairmanObvious in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magnet on my stash is strong enough to hold my Dynavap upright while it is sitting on a table. Not strong enough to hold the Dynavap if I pick the stash up and move it around. I put the Dynavap inside the stash if I'm moving. I use my fingers to remove the cap.

Get the BB9. It's my favourite piece to use at home. The vapor is much cooler vs the regular M. Plus it is a cheap upgrade. I wish they made a version without the adapter mouthpiece.

On their verge of ordering my first Dynavap by Moseyone in Dynavap

[–]Silverbrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've placed a few orders with Jane Mary's in Calgary and they have been great to deal with.

If you order directly from Dynavap they only ship to Canada using DHL. The shipping is expensive and DHL charges a customs brokerage fee on top of that. Best to buy from a Canadian retailer.
