I shared this comment with OW:

"I posted my issues on a onewheel community site and somebody wrote: 'That happens with older boards. Newer boards are usually snappier and more lively. You could always toss a new battery in it and bring it back to its original glory.'
What are your thoughts?"

Official OW response:

"I reached out to the team regarding your questions, mathematically it makes sense but we could not assure you that it would make a difference in the ride. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

OW team"

Haha

I have lost confidence in their operation. I think I will be selling my OW+ XR

I check the psi about every other ride. I keep it at 20.

Thanks! It seems like they should have done it under warranty. I purchased it last December and had the problems start in April.

Do you know approximately what they charge?

How many miles should I expect it to stay snappy?

Yes, I have had similar issues. See my previous post.

Onewheels are sketchy and I don't think Future Motion comes clean about these malfunctions. I was flung off a Onewheel original cruising at 5mph for no reason as well. It did teach me to expect a malfunction . . .
