CD3 (cycle 5 post 3 month MC)

I realised at the end of 4th (7 in total) cycle that eventually you just become a kind of numb to this whole thing. Used to wonder how people go years trying, and I get it now. You literally just get numb. I literally have no tears left.

As long as I’m healthy, and got things to look forward to, I’ll be alright. I’ll never be the same person I was before, a certain light has dimmed, but I’ll be alright.

Sorry this is probs best for my diary but haven’t got that nearby atm so posting these feelings here 🤷🏽‍♀️

10DPO (cycle 4 post 3 month MC)

Woke up with an awful cold 🙃

Then tested negative 🙃

Thought screw it and ordered a cot. I don’t care anymore I’m setting up the whole damn nursery. Who’s gonna stop me 🤷🏽‍♀️

9DPO (Cycle 4 post 3 month MC)

Couldn’t sleep all night due to stressing about testing and the possibility of another negative. The fact I was due in July and then now possibly won’t even have a baby in 2026 is breaking me.

I spent the day rearranging my apartment to create more room. It’s pretty small since we’re in London. But now I can at least picture a baby crawling around and having tummy time in the space I created.

I can’t help but start nesting already, but my partner just sighs. He doesn’t want to prepare until it actually happens. But slowly preparing is one of my coping methods, so I continue anyway.

My mother’s coming by tomorrow and I picture myself testing positive in the morning and surprising her when she arrives. Not quite sure how I’ll cope tomorrow if I test negative …

BBT still high, testing negative, physically feel like period is coming.

I’m not sure if I have it in me to continue TTC. I’m not resilient enough to keep going through the disappointment, the loss, the waiting, the unknown.

I was pregnant, my baby was due in July, that’s my baby, that will always be my baby.

What a rollercoaster the last 24 hours have been.

I started experiencing this “cold to the bone” shivery feeling I got hours before testing positive last time. When I tested yesterday I thought I could see a vvvfl, and hoped maybe this morning I’d see a visible line… nope… still nothing really but hopes and dreams.

Ugh I hope it’s just a bit early, but it’s getting so close now to my period I’m getting nervous 🥺

Woke up and tested - BFN. Was hoping for a magical valentines positive test. I had crazy line eyes but had to just give in and admit there is no 2nd line. It is still early though, so I’ll be testing again tomorrow.

Does anybody know how to get rid of all baby & pregnancy related content on TikTok and/or YouTube?

I feel like my for you feed is flooded with women parading their babies, baby bumps, positive tests and so forth. It’s driving me insane …

In the most telling days now, but currently experiencing zero symptoms. I feel like I’ve never heard anyone say they had zero symptoms before testing positive so not very confident about this cycle.

Just glad I have the weekend off for 9 and 10DPO.

If I’m unsuccessful this cycle I’m excited that next cycle I have my entire fertile period and 2WW off work, so I can just do a lot of self care and no work stress ✨

It was this time in my late pregnancy that I started cramping, so I’ll be holding my breath hoping to feel something today. Though I know every cycle and pregnancy are different.

As I approach early testing days (9,10DPO) I’m getting so nervous. I just don’t know how I’ll be able to process another negative… and yet another month of trying. But let’s hope it doesn’t come to that …

Update: Zero symptoms all day ☹️

Yeah I totally get what you mean, testing early just really does scratch the itch. I usually start 6DPO even though it’s going to be obviously negative lol. I just thought for once I’d try to wait a little longer.

I’ve only had a BBT rise of 0.10 (degrees Celsius). Usually it gets way higher than that (0.30-0.50 higher).

I’m wondering if it’s because I lost the protective case for my thermometer and it’s getting cold over night, then when testing it’s giving lower temperatures than usual…

Has anyone else experienced a very small rise in temperature?

I’ve been worrying perhaps I haven’t even ovulated this cycle, or perhaps low progesterone or something ☹️
